The Thalictrum aquilegiifolium, commonly known as Columbine Meadow Rue or French Meadow Rue, is an herbaceous perennial with clusters of pink blooms. Blooming from late spring to mid-summer, its flowers feature prominent thin stamens that create a soft, cloud-like effect. The “Columbine” in its name comes from its lacy foliage that closely resembles that of columbines. Thalictrum aquilegiifolium is also useful for attracting bees and butterflies.
