Dee-Lish®
The Dee-Lish® is an award-winning Hybrid Tea rose that truly lives up to its name with a “delicious” and powerful fragrance of verbena and citrus. This French-bred beauty produces large, non-fading, deep pink blooms in a charming, old-fashioned cupped shape. Known for its exceptional health, it was one of the first hybrid teas to win the prestigious ADR award in Germany for disease resistance. With its tall, upright habit and semi-glossy, gray-green foliage, it serves as a vigorous and reliable centerpiece for any garden.
Grow Guide
- Light: Plant in Full Sun (at least 6+ hours of direct sunlight) to encourage the most robust stems and maximize its intense fragrance.
- Hardiness: Highly adaptable and suitable for Zones 5–10, performing exceptionally well in various climates from the East Coast to the Pacific Northwest.
- Spacing & Size: This rose has a very tall, upright habit, reaching about 6–6½’ tall and 3′ wide. Space accordingly (36″ apart) to allow for its significant height and proper airflow.
- Watering: Water regularly until fully established. Once mature, provide deep, consistent watering at the base—typically when the top 3 inches of soil are dry—to maintain its lush growth.
- Best Use: Its long, sturdy stems and magnificent scent make it a premier choice for cutting gardens and bouquets, while its height makes it an excellent accent plant or flowering screen at the back of a border.
