Eleganza® Sunny Sky™
The Eleganza® Sunny Sky™ is a radiant and remarkably hardy Hybrid Tea rose that brings a glow of “honey-yellow” to the garden. It features elegant, high-centered buds that open into large, double blooms (up to 4″ across) with a soft apricot-yellow center that transitions to a lighter creamy yellow at the edges. This award-winning variety is highly prized for its exceptional disease resistance and its delightful fruity fragrance, which carries notes of apple, peach, and lemon. With its vigorous, upright growth and thick, glossy dark green foliage, Sunny Sky™ is a reliable “sunshine” plant that performs beautifully in almost any climate.
Grow Guide
- Light: Plant in Full Sun (6+ hours of direct sunlight) to fuel its vigorous growth and ensure the most prolific bloom production.
- Hardiness: Extremely adaptable and cold-hardy, suitable for Zones 5–10, making it a sturdy choice for many different regions.
- Spacing & Size: This rose has a bushy, upright habit, reaching about 4½’ tall and 3′ wide. Space accordingly (3′ apart) to allow for full development and maintain healthy airflow.
- Watering: Water regularly until fully established. Once mature, it prefers deep, consistent watering at the base—about an inch per week—to keep the roots hydrated while keeping the foliage dry.
- Best Use: Its long, sturdy stems and elegant honey-yellow blooms make it a premier choice for cutting gardens and floral arrangements. It also serves as a beautiful specimen plant or a flowering hedge in borders and landscapes.
