California Dreamin’™
The California Dreamin’™ is a ravishing Hybrid Tea rose that captures the essence of a coastal sunset. It boasts large, high-centered, creamy-white flowers (reaching up to 5″ across) that are beautifully edged with a vibrant pink border. Beyond its stunning multi-colored petals, this rose is prized for its intense citrus fragrance and exceptional disease resistance. A vigorous grower with dark green, semi-glossy foliage, it performs remarkably well in a variety of climates but truly thrives in the dry, warm temperatures of the West.
Grow Guide
- Light: Plant in Full Sun (at least 6+ hours of direct sunlight) to ensure the best bloom production and maintain the plant’s health.
- Hardiness: Suitable for Zones 5–9, making it adaptable to a wide range of climates across the country.
- Spacing & Size: This rose has an upright, bushy habit, reaching about 3–4′ tall and 2–3′ wide. Space accordingly (24–36″ apart) to allow for good airflow and prevent disease.
- Watering: Water regularly until the plant is fully established. Once mature, it prefers deep, consistent watering at the base of the plant, especially during dry spells, to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.
- Best Use: Its long, sturdy stems and incredible citrus scent make it an ideal choice for cutting gardens and floral arrangements, as well as beds, borders, and large containers.
