Sunshine Daydream™
The Sunshine Daydream™ is a groundbreaking Grandiflora rose, notable for being the first of its kind to win the prestigious All-America Rose Selections (AARS) award under no-spray cultivation trials. It produces abundant clusters of large, cupped, butter-yellow blooms that gracefully mature to a soft cream. Renowned for its “rock-solid” durability and exceptional disease resistance, this rose features highly glossy, dark green foliage that remains healthy even in challenging climates. With its vigorous growth and prolific reblooming habit, it provides a consistent, sunny glow in the garden from late spring until the first hard frost.
Grow Guide
- Light: Plant in Full Sun (at least 6+ hours of direct sunlight) to maintain its upright habit and ensure a continuous flush of its vibrant yellow blooms.
- Hardiness: Highly adaptable and resilient, suitable for Zones 5–10, with excellent performance reported across the United States.
- Spacing & Size: This variety has a tall, bushy, and upright habit, reaching approximately 5–6′ tall and 4′ wide. Space accordingly (4′ apart) to accommodate its mature size and maintain essential airflow.
- Watering: Water regularly until fully established. Once mature, it prefers deep, consistent watering at the base—about an inch per week—to keep the roots hydrated while keeping the glossy foliage dry.
- Best Use: Its long, sturdy stems and elegant blooms make it a premier choice for cutting gardens and floral arrangements. It is also a fantastic option for flowering hedges, mass plantings, or as a tall specimen in the back of a border.
